Design/Build Locker and Restroom Facilities, James River Reserve Fleet

Work on this project included the design and construction of locker rooms and restroom facilities for 50 males and 5 females. The shell of an existing metal fabricated building was used transformed into restroom and shower facilities. Four distinct spaces were created: men’s locker room, men’s restroom/shower room, women’s locker room and women’s restroom/shower room. The facility was built utilizing Green Building technology, including using recycled materials, and meets ADA requirements. An efficient HVAC system was provided and installed, and high efficiency insulation was mounted to minimize the over use of the HVAC system.
